FAQ: technical

Short answers to common technical questions. Follow the linked article for the full details.

What server and OS do I need?

Qubix is installed on your own server (VPS/VDS) with a single command. For the supported operating systems and the hardware needed for your load, see Install on a server.

Does the anti-detect browser have to stay running?

No. You connect a profile once through the Qubix Connector extension, and after that Qubix collects Facebook data on its own — on a schedule, even when the browser and the profile are closed. The profile only needs to stay logged in to Facebook, not stay open. See Antidetect browsers and Qubix Connector.

Is the parser safe for my accounts?

The parser does not reach Facebook from the outside. It works from inside your already-logged-in profile, through the Qubix extension in the antidetect browser, so to Facebook it looks like normal account activity rather than a request from a third-party API. See FB parser and Antidetect browsers and Qubix Connector.

Attention

The parser only works while the profile is logged in to Facebook. If the profile logs out, the FB status becomes invalid and data stops updating — open the profile and sign in again. See FB parser.

I forgot the admin password. How do I get back in?

If another administrator can still sign in, they can change your password in the panel — see Users. If no one can get in, reset it from the server console with a single command. See Reset the admin password.
