Create an administrator
After the install command finishes, the rest of the setup happens in a browser.
Open the wizard link the installer printed
(http://<your-server-ip>:7000/install?k=…) and go through four short steps:
license → address → administrator → install. At the end Qubix opens at the
address you chose, over HTTPS.
Step 1 — License
Enter your activation code in the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format. The code comes from
your account on qubix.pro. It is one-time: once activated it binds to this server.
Step 2 — Where Qubix will open
This step answers one question — "Where will your Qubix open?" — with two choices:
On the server address (the quick start)
Pick "On the server address" to start right away. Qubix opens at an address derived from the server's own IP, with a ready HTTPS certificate — you type nothing. This is the fastest way to get in and look around; you can attach a real domain later in the admin.
On my own domain
Pick "On my own domain" if you already have a domain for the panel. Enter it, then answer "How does the domain reach the server?":
- Directly — the domain's A-record points straight at this server. Qubix issues and renews the HTTPS certificate itself. Choose this if the server owns the public IP and ports 80/443 are free.
- Through Cloudflare — the domain sits behind Cloudflare with the proxy on. Cloudflare holds HTTPS and Qubix answers on a separate port. This option also asks for a Cloudflare API token and account, and the origin port.
After entering the domain, use the Verify button — Qubix checks that the domain reaches this server (and tells you exactly what to fix if it does not) before you continue.
You do not need a domain to begin. Start on the server address, explore Qubix, and attach or change a domain later in the admin → Domains section.
Step 3 — The administrator
Enter the first administrator's email, password (at least 8 characters) and name. This is the account you will log in with. You can add more users later.
Step 4 — Install
Confirm to finish. Qubix saves your choices, creates the administrator, issues the HTTPS certificate and publishes the panel. When it is done it shows the address to log in at.
Once the administrator is created the setup link stops working. From now on you log in at your panel's own address.
First login — set up your services
Log in at your panel's address with the administrator account. On a fresh install Qubix takes you straight to the Connections page and greets you there — this is where you connect the services you need (the AI assistant, Telegram notifications, and the integrations you use).
You do not have to set everything up at once. The bell in the top-right corner of the header keeps a short checklist of what is still unconfigured, with a count. Open it to see each item with a one-line hint and a link straight to its settings tab; Configure opens that tab, Skip hides an item you do not need. The bell turns calm once every item is either configured or skipped.
