Scrolling a wide table sideways
When a table does not fit the window in width, its right-hand columns go past the edge. The panel has no scroll bars, so you move the table sideways with the mouse or the touchpad — the same way as in Google Sheets and other web apps. Only the table moves; the rest of the page stays in place.
An ordinary mouse with a wheel (Windows and macOS)
- Point at the table.
- Hold Shift and turn the wheel — the table moves sideways.
Without Shift, the wheel scrolls the page up and down as usual.
A mouse with a tilting wheel or a side wheel
If your mouse wheel tilts left and right, or the mouse has a second wheel on the side under your thumb, use it to move the table sideways — no Shift needed.
A laptop touchpad, Magic Trackpad or Magic Mouse
