License key
A Qubix license is managed in your my.qubix.pro cabinet. Each license carries a one-time activation code that you enter once when installing Qubix on your server. After that the license is bound to that machine and stays valid on its own — no key files to copy, no manual renewal of the binding.
How to activate
- Buy a license — see Payment and plans. It appears in your cabinet.
- Open the license and copy the Activation code. The cabinet notes that you use this code once when starting Qubix on the server.
- Install Qubix on your server — see Install on a server. The installer asks for this code; paste it.
- Qubix activates and binds the license to that server. The cabinet now shows the license as Locked to a machine.

The activation code is single-use — it is consumed on activation. You only need a new one if you move to another server, where you re-issue a fresh code.
Managing a license
The license page in the cabinet shows:
- Status — see the table below.
- Activation code — visible until the license is activated (afterwards: Locked to a machine).
- Machine — the server the license is bound to.
- valid until — the date the current paid period runs through.
Available actions:

| Reissue code | Issue a fresh activation code and release the machine binding — used when moving to a new server. |
| Detach machine | Release the current machine binding (you will need to activate again). |
| Freeze / Unfreeze | Temporarily stop / resume the license. While frozen, the server stops working. |
License statuses
| Status | Meaning |

| Active | Paid and running normally. |
| Frozen | Paused from the cabinet — the server stops until you unfreeze. |
| Expired | The paid period ended — see Subscription expiration. |
| Revoked | The license was revoked and no longer works. |
