Teams

Teams group users together. Team membership determines what data a person sees: for example, a template with the Team scope opens access to everything its team launched. A teamlead manages only their own team.

Teams list with ID, Name and Description columns

Breaking down the list

Each row is one team. The columns:

  • ID — the internal number.
  • Name — the team name.
  • Description — a short note about the team's purpose.

On the right of the row is the Edit button for editing the name and description.

How to create a team

  1. Click + New in the top-right corner — the new team dialog opens. The New team dialog
  2. Enter the Name — a required field.
  3. If needed, add a Description.
  4. Click Save.

The team will appear in the list. Now it can be assigned to users on the Users page.

Tip

The data access scope ("Own" / "Team" / "All") is set not here, but in the permission template. The team only determines who is "in the same group" with whom; what exactly that group sees is decided by the template.
